Customer Review: Cool Little Pots

These pots are great for individual portions of soups and sauces, however they are not really nonstick, so be careful. They wash up nicely and are not heavy. A nice alternative if you are looking for a nonstick pot, is the Cooks Essentials Nonstick Soup/Souffle pots, but they are REALLY hard to find.

Thirty years ago, Calphalon introduced the Professional Hard-Anodized series as its first line of premium cookware designed for chefs who demand unparalleled quality and performance. This line is constructed of hard-anodized aluminum, which offers superior durability and excellent heat conductivity. The durable finish is stick-resistant; won't chip, crack, or peel; and won't react to foods. Lids are also hard-anodized, and handles are made of textured cast iron with nickel-chrome plating for rust resistance.These two little 1/2-quart soup/soufflé pans are simply adorable. Ideal for individual servings, these pans heat evenly, and you can use any utensil with them. However, the handles won't stay as cool as the Cool V handles available on Calphalon's other cookware lines. Safe in the oven or under a broiler, but not the dishwasher, the pans need to be cleaned with a mild cleanser and your own elbow grease.
