This is the all purpose spoon that I keep above my stove and use all the time. It is sturdy and does great in the dish washer. I keep the slotted Calphalon spoon right next to this one.

Measuring 14 inches long, it reaches to the bottom of nearly any pot, making stirring easier. Made of polished stainless steel and gracefully shaped, it's dressy enough to join the table at meal time. A hole in the handle facilitates hanging on a peg or hook.
